MOTTO

DESCRIPTION OF EMBLEM
The emblem of Sports and Games Club is in a circle shape which indicates the unity of participants. In the middle of the emblem there is the emblem of our school. It indicates that Sports and Games Club has no separate entity but an integral part of Little Flower School. A man with a ball in the left side of the emblem indicates all the games events and a man in the right side indicates athletes. In the top there are two men with torch. The torch is a symbol of the harmony and good will. In the bottom there is a shaking hand. It also expresses the motto of the club “come together, win together” that is to say, this club invites everyone come together in love to excel in life. Background green color indicates the color of nature. It symbolizes growth, freshness, and fertility.

AIM
       The member will be enabled to be sportsmen who appreciate and practice the values of discipline, perseverance, and motivate team spirit.

OBJECTIVES
1. The members will be enabled to develop physical fitness by maintaining and increasing such components as speed, flexibility, muscular strength, muscular endurance, aerobic capacity.
2. The members will be motivated develop an understanding of the importance of sports in the pursuit of a healthy and active lifestyle.
3. The members will be entitled to develop leadership qualities along with problem solving and foster qualities of co-operation, tolerance, consideration, trust, and responsibility as a team when faced problem.
4. The members will be encouraged to maximize their sporting potential and find a sport that they can enjoy and participate in with some success.

STRATEGY
        Little Flower High School is an institution which provides sufficient opportunities for the mental, spiritual, and physical growth of each child. The school management gives equal importance of extracurricular activities and co-curricular activities.
    The Sports and Games Club in our school commonly known as “SGC” has a unique ability to bring people together and promote a sense of belongingness.
    The SGC will provide chance for each member to bring out their sportsmen spirit and mature their talents in the field of sports. The SGC will be on apt place for each member to pore our God’s given gifts and abilities in sports and games to shine their lives. The club will be ensure that every pupil get special physical training for different Sports and Games items which may well organize the working of the body and that of the mind.

ACTIVITIES
1. Finding of the potentials of the students in the field of sports and games and give practice for them. 2. Sports and games competitions once in three months.
3. Give special practice for aerobics exercise, every week.
4. Statistical measurement of the height and weight of the pupil twice in a year.
5. Awareness programs on the importance of physical exercises.
6. Leadership in sports and games events.
